DDW-FOOD HOOD

This year, something special is happening right in our neighbourhood during Dutch Design Week (DDW). A group of five international designers, calling themselves Food Hood, are taking over Rochusbuurthuis ‘de Buut’ and inviting us to explore food and dining in a whole new way!

These designers, hailing from Singapore, Japan and South Korea are currently students in the Masters programme at the Design Academy Eindhoven. ‘Don’t Play With Your Food’ will be their first group show, centred around themes of community and play through food.

De Buut will be open from 11:00-18:00 throughout DDW, which runs from 19-27th October. Visitors can expect a multi sensorial experience consisting of food sculptures, playful crockery and interactive installations. Everyone is welcomed, and entry is free!

Save the date to attend our events! And don’t forget to register for our BBB Dinner and Pasta Workshop and Party!
